Another week, another free shirt contest. For our puzzle this week, I decided to engage in some mathematical chicanery. How is this equation possible?
5 – 4 – 3 = 3 – 4 – 3
The first person to email us with the solution (show your work kids!) will win the Cyclone Baseball shirt shown below (pending available sizes). This post will be updated when that occurs. Good luck!
Winner has been awarded! The mathematical wording of the post was simply a red herring. By looking at the context of the shirt–a baseball shirt–those who are familiar with baseball scoring would realize that 5 – 4 – 3 = 3 – 4 – 3 translates into double play = double play. Thanks for playing!
